Still Life Is Not Real Life
Sunday May 29, 2011 photos are simple. I needed a simple day after the commotion of Saturday (see previous post)
Still life is easy to work with and it can also be the hardest to capture. It doesn't breathe, talk back or do the opposite of what you're asking, but all the same...it doesn't do those things to make the photos come more natural. I bought this guy last year at Pier 1 for next to nothing. He has a permanent spot on the mantel over the fireplace. I decided he needed to see the sun shine as much as I did. :)
And a gorgeous sunset to end the day.
