Mushy and Gushy

Blogger is trying to confuse me...it's saying I've already posted 39 blogs, but I in fact am on day 39 today. This is very hard to keep up with lol. 

Even though I'm not big on Valentine's day (actually I don't like it at all) I took mushy, gushy photos today. 

And for all you haters like me...just because you don't like this useless day, doesn't mean you can't eat the candy! 

Hope you romantic fools like today's post. It's growing on me. lol.

Using Selective Color

Day 23. I spent today perfecting the art of Photoshop for my 2 shots. I worked on lighting, props and angles for the actual picture and changed color using the program. It all started last night when I did my first test run on black and white with selective color...I'll post it here too...it turned it really well. :)


Today has been a pretty productive day. 

Peek-a-boo!

I didn't remove the 'reds' entirely because it washed the photo out too much. I think it's a nice balance with a hint of color.

And here is my favorite...my 'test' from last night. :)

Today was a good day. Hope tomorrow is too!

A Black and White Day

It's day 19 and I realize some days I won't have a lot to work with. Some days it will be a major challenge to find at least one good photo...today was one of those days. Seems like every thing I attempted turned to shit. I only managed to capture one decent shot today, and I'm ok with that.

Tomorrow is another day.
